This week was great yet again! Really what I have been enjoying recently has been the Book of Mormon! I love that true book! I’ve been in Helaman and Alma. I actually finished Helaman this morning. I love the prophesying that Samuel the Lamanite renders unto the wicked Nephites. One verse in particular that I loved was Helaman 15:6, Which is talking about the converted Laminates helping their bretheren.
It Says, “Yea, I say unto you, that the more part of them are doing this, and they are striving with unwearied diligence that they may bring the remainder of their brethren to the knowledge of the truth; therefore there are many who do add to their numbers daily.”
I love that these truly converted members of God’s Church were helping their fellow man! That is what missionary work is all about! You don’t need to be called as a “Full-time Missionary” to be a missionary. Members have the unique opportunity to be associated in all aspects of their lives with people who aren’t members of our church. Every missionary knows that the best way to get missionary work done is by inviting those who are closest to you. Sometimes if not most of the time we are afraid to even invite. A lot of people try to justify not talking to someone by thinking about what they have to lose, which by the way is still not a lot. But think about what you have to gain… Or Really, what your friends have to gain!
You can bring souls unto God. God gave you your testimony for a reason.
I am so thankful for my testimony. Without it I would be a very different man. I know that God lives, that Jesus is the Messiah and that their church is found on the Earth today. I am so grateful for that.
I love you all and thank you for all of your love!
